Privacy policy
Last updated October 20, 2026 · 3 min read
This policy explains what personal data the Tetro interface processes, why, and what control you have over it. It covers the website, the web application and the Tetro API. It does not cover data that is public on the blockchain, which no one can control.
1.Public by design
Every on-chain action is public: your address, balances, trades, bids, orders and mints. Many parties index Robinhood Chain, Tetro included. Nobody, including us, can delete or edit that history. Keep this in mind before linking an address to your real identity.
2.Data we process
We process the following off-chain data, and only when you use the related feature:
- Account: your wallet address and sign-in times when you use Sign-In with Ethereum.
- Features you use: watchlist, comments, launch drafts, Spotlight and RWA issuer applications, and support tickets.
- Contact details you choose to give, such as an email address or Telegram handle on a ticket or application.
- Uploads: images and metadata you upload for tokens, agents and collections. These are pinned to IPFS and become public.
- Technical logs: IP address, user agent, request paths and timestamps, used for security and rate limiting.
3.RWA verification requests
If you ask an RWA issuer to verify your wallet, we store your address, the token, your country code, the KYC provider's name, the provider reference and the contact you give, and show them only to that token's issuer. We do not receive identity documents; they stay with the KYC provider you chose.
If the issuer approves you, your wallet, a hash of the provider reference and your country code are written to the token's identity registry on-chain, where they are public and permanent. The issuer is an independent controller of the data it receives, and its own privacy notice applies.
4.What we never collect
We never ask for, receive or store private keys or seed phrases. We do not collect identity documents. We do not use advertising trackers, sell personal data or build advertising profiles.
5.Why we use data
We use data only to:
- provide the features you ask for (performing our agreement with you);
- keep the interface secure, prevent abuse and enforce rate limits (our legitimate interest);
- answer support tickets and review applications (our legitimate interest, or steps you request before an agreement);
- comply with legal obligations, such as sanctions screening or lawful requests from authorities.
7.Retention
We keep off-chain records while your account is active and for as long as the purpose they serve requires, including security investigations and legal duties. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then deleted. RWA verification requests are kept while the issuer may need them to evidence its compliance checks.
8.Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and sign-in uses signed messages rather than passwords, so there is no password for us to lose. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9.International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. These rights exist under data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
To use a right, open a Support ticket from the address concerned. Data written on-chain cannot be changed or erased by anyone.
11.Browser storage
The interface stores preferences such as theme, density, slippage, quick-buy presets, a local watchlist and drafts in your browser. Clearing site data removes them. The Cookie Policy has the details.
12.Children
The interface is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact Support and we will delete it.
13.Changes
We will update the "Last updated" date when this policy changes and announce material changes in the interface before they take effect.
