Risk disclosure

Last updated October 20, 2026 · 2 min read

Crypto assets are volatile and the tools on Tetro are powerful. This page sets out the main ways you can lose money so you can decide with open eyes. It is not a complete list.

1.You can lose everything

Tokens created on Tetro, including RWA tokens, can lose all of their value, quickly and without warning. Past price action says nothing about the future. Only use money you can afford to lose entirely.

2.User-created tokens

Anyone can launch a token, usually without revealing who they are.

  • Creators can abandon a project, sell their allocation, or make claims that are not true.
  • Bonding curves and young pools are thin. A single trade can move the price sharply in either direction.
  • Coordinated buying and selling, bots and front-running are common in new markets.
  • Badges such as "LP locked" and "Fixed supply" describe on-chain facts. They are not a judgment of quality.

3.Real-world asset tokens

An RWA token is a claim defined by the issuer's legal documents, not by the smart contract alone. Its value depends on the issuer, the underlying asset, custody arrangements and the law where the asset sits. If the issuer fails, you may recover nothing.

RWA tokens are permissioned. You can only buy or receive them after the issuer verifies you, and you can only sell to other verified wallets, so there may be no buyer when you want to sell. Holder limits and country rules can block a transfer.

The issuer's agents can pause trading, freeze your wallet or part of your balance, force a transfer out of your wallet, or move your position to a replacement wallet. These powers exist for legal compliance but can be misused or used in error.

Securities laws differ between countries. An offering may not be available or lawful where you live, and you may have no regulator or compensation scheme to turn to.

4.Market and liquidity

Prices shown are the last trade or the best listing. They may not be what you can actually sell for, especially for larger amounts. RWA Market listings are fixed-price offers by sellers; Tetro does not make markets or guarantee a buyer.

5.Smart contracts

Contracts can contain bugs despite tests, reviews and audits. Upgradeable contracts are controlled by admin keys held in a multisig with a timelock, which reduces but does not remove the risk of a harmful upgrade. Contracts deployed by users, including tokens launched with custom parameters, may behave in ways you do not expect.

6.Network and infrastructure

Robinhood Chain is a young Arbitrum Orbit L2. It can halt, reorganize or become congested, and its sequencer and bridges carry their own risks. Indexers, price feeds and RPC providers can be delayed or wrong, so what the interface shows can briefly differ from the chain.

7.Keys, phishing and scams

Anyone with your seed phrase controls your assets. Fake websites, fake support accounts and malicious approvals are the most common causes of loss. Tetro staff never DM first and never ask for keys. Verify contract addresses in the Docs before you sign, and read every transaction preview.

8.Regulatory change

Laws on crypto assets are changing in many countries. New rules could restrict access to the interface, specific tokens or RWA offerings, or change how they are taxed.

9.Tax

Trades, sale fills, airdrops and distributions can be taxable events. You are responsible for your own records and reporting.

10.No advice

Nothing on Tetro is investment, legal or tax advice. Get independent advice for your situation before making significant decisions.
