Terms of service
Last updated October 20, 2026 · 6 min read
These terms govern your use of the Tetro website, web application, API and related tools (the interface). By connecting a wallet or otherwise using the interface, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the interface.
Draft under legal review. This text is published for transparency and is not yet in force.
1.What Tetro is
Tetro is a software interface to smart contracts deployed on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). Through it you can create tokens, run and join primary sales, trade on bonding curves and decentralized exchanges, place on-chain limit orders, register and pay AI agents, mint NFTs and, where an issuer has been approved, issue and trade permissioned real-world asset (RWA) tokens.
The smart contracts execute transactions on their own terms. The Tetro team does not hold your assets or keys, does not execute trades for you, and cannot reverse, cancel or alter a confirmed transaction.
2.Definitions
In these terms:
- "We", "us" and "Tetro" mean the operators of the interface.
- "You" means the person or entity using the interface, and anyone you act for.
- "Protocol" means the smart contracts the interface connects to, which are public and run independently of us.
- "Issuer" means a party approved to deploy RWA token suites through RWAFactory.
- "Creator" means anyone who launches a token, collection or agent.
3.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to enter into these terms. You may not use the interface if you are on a sanctions list, are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or are acting for anyone who is.
Some features, including RWA offerings, may be restricted by your location or by the issuer's rules. We may block access from certain regions. Using tools to get around a restriction is a breach of these terms.
4.Your wallet and your transactions
You are solely responsible for your wallet, keys, seed phrase and devices, and for every transaction you sign. Lost keys cannot be recovered by us.
The interface simulates each transaction before asking for a signature and shows a preview. Prices, quotes and gas estimates are informational and can change before a transaction is included in a block. Slippage and deadline settings protect you only within the limits you choose.
Network fees (gas, including the L1 data component) are paid to the network, not to Tetro.
5.Sign-in and off-chain features
Some features, such as watchlist sync, comments, drafts, applications and RWA verification requests, require Sign-In with Ethereum. Signing in costs no gas and grants no permission over your assets. You are responsible for the content you submit through these features.
6.Tokens created by users
Anyone can launch a token. We do not review, endorse or guarantee tokens, their creators, their metadata or their value. Badges such as "LP locked" or "Fixed supply" describe verifiable on-chain facts only, not quality or safety.
Creators are responsible for the accuracy of what they publish and for complying with the laws that apply to their launch. A token can lose all of its value.
7.Real-world asset tokens
RWA tokens are issued by independent issuers that we have approved to use the issuance tools. The issuer, not Tetro, is responsible for the underlying asset, the offering documents, any registration or exemption, investor eligibility, custody and ongoing disclosure. Tetro is not a broker, dealer, exchange, alternative trading system, transfer agent or investment adviser.
Only wallets the issuer has verified can receive RWA tokens. The issuer's agents can pause transfers, freeze wallets or balances, force transfers and recover lost wallets. By holding an RWA token you accept these controls.
Listings on the RWA Market are offers by their sellers. We do not set prices, match orders off-chain, or guarantee liquidity, settlement value or the existence of a buyer. Read the offering document and the Risk Disclosure before you buy.
8.AI agents
Agents listed on Tetro are operated by third parties. The AI and Agent Terms apply to listing, using and paying agents and form part of these terms.
9.Fees
Protocol fees are set in the FeeManager contract within hard-coded ceilings and are shown before you sign. Creators may set a creator fee within its own ceiling. Current ceilings are listed in Docs › Protocol fees. We may change fees within those ceilings; a change applies only to transactions submitted after it.
10.Prohibited use
You may not use the interface to:
- manipulate markets, including wash trading, spoofing, pump-and-dump schemes or coordinated price manipulation;
- commit fraud, impersonate others or misrepresent a token, agent, partnership or audit;
- launder money, finance terrorism or evade sanctions;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or publish content that breaks the Content Policy;
- interfere with the interface or its infrastructure, including scraping beyond published rate limits, probing for vulnerabilities outside the disclosure process, or distributing malware.
11.Moderation and access
We may hide tokens, agents, collections or comments from Tetro feeds and pages, add warnings, or restrict your access to the interface if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms or the law. These actions affect only the interface. They do not and cannot change contracts or balances on-chain, and you can always interact with the protocol directly.
12.Intellectual property
The Tetro name, logo and interface design belong to us. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or confuses users. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms. You keep the rights to content you upload and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display it in the interface. Files pinned to IPFS are public and cannot be removed from the network by us.
13.Third-party services
The interface relies on services we do not control, including wallets, RPC providers, Robinhood Chain itself, bridges, Uniswap, IPFS gateways, block explorers and KYC providers chosen by issuers. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
14.No advice
Nothing in the interface, the Docs or our communications is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Make your own decisions and seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
15.Risks
Using blockchain applications involves serious risks, including total loss. Smart contracts can contain bugs despite testing and review. Networks can halt, reorganize or become congested. Indexers and price feeds can be delayed or wrong. The Risk Disclosure describes these risks in detail, and you confirm that you have read it.
16.Availability and changes to the interface
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the interface at any time, including for maintenance or security. The interface is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
17.Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the interface and the protocol are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
18.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost profits or lost data, or for losses arising from your own transactions, smart contract behaviour, third-party services, or network events. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to Tetro in the twelve months before the claim.
19.Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or of the law, from content you publish, or from any offering you make as a creator or issuer.
20.Governing law and disputes
The governing law, forum and dispute process will be set out here once counsel confirms them. Until then, nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact Support so we can try to resolve it informally.
21.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed, and we will announce material changes in the interface before they take effect. If you keep using the interface after an update takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
22.General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. These terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the interface.
